The Polish Chamber of Steel Structures is an economic self-government organization established in June 1996 by 115 founding members, bringing together 125-150 companies at various times, varying greatly in size, ownership status, and business profile, including:

  • steel structure manufacturers and assembly companies,
  • companies cooperating in the production and distribution of steel, aluminum systems and light cladding, fastening and welding technologies and materials, as well as supplies and services in the field of corrosion protection and fire safety,
  • scientific, research, design, and specialist units.

The primary objective of PIKS is to promote, represent, and protect the interests of its member companies and to shape their positive image, in particular by:

  • participation in shaping economic policy and creating and modernizing standards, procedures, and legal regulations,
  • promotion of metal structures,
  • organization of conferences, trade fairs, exhibitions, training workshops, and international cooperation,promotion of quality standards, reliability, and professional and commercial ethics.
